WORK ORDER City Manager Kennedy presented a Work Order in the amount of $18,000.00 for Street Street Improvement on Improvement on Mojave from Charleston to Owens including excavation, 2" Type I Aggregate, 2" Type II Mojave; Charleston to Aggregate, Chip and Seal, 30' Roadway 2 miles in length. Mr. Kennedy advised that $15,000.00 Owens of this work would be on next year's budget. Approved Commissioner Fountain moved that Work Order in the amount of $18,000.00 for Street Improvement on Mojave from Charleston to Owens be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. WORK ORDER City Manager Kennedy presented a Work Order in the amount of $1,500.00 to construct by City Street Improvement on Forces 1" overlay on Owens Avenue from Main Street to the railroad. Owens, Main to the Railroad Commissioner Whipple moved that Work Order in the amount of $1,500.00 to construct by City Forces, 1" overlay on Owens Avenue from Main Street to the railroad be approved. Approved Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. -oOo- -oOo- There being no further business to come before the Board, at the hour of 9:35 p.m. Commissioner Whipple moved that this meeting be recessed until 8:00 a.m., Friday, May 8, 1959, for the canvass of election returns at the Better Living Warehouse, 110 W.
