Knickerbocker, General Manager Union P a c ific System Los Angeles, C alifornia Dear Sir: Confirming the enclosed copy o f Telegram: We have no contract sale of water with Pioneer Heights or EairView Tract. Permits covering these Tracts were served by the Craner Water Company and were included in the purchase of same when we bought the franchise and permit covering Bucks Addition. Bucks Addition* Pioneer Heights, and Pair View Tract are la id with our water mains, the same having been completed last f a l l under approved Work Order $79. We are co llectin g a l l water rents from these subdivisions under our franchise rate, same as that o f Clark’ s Las Yegas Townsite. Regarding the Pourteenth Street and the Boulder Dam Homesite Addition, please re fe r to my le t t e r to you under date o f February 20th, and your reply to same on lin e February 22d. In reference to the Grand View Tract, the application has only been submitted verbally and w ill be forthcoming as i soon as the owners, who are Los Angeles men, arrive here. The committment spoken o f on legend o f maps fo rwarded to you yesterday is as per your le t t e r as o f Pebruary 22d. Regarding the other three additions jrho have spoken o f wanting water, I have not d e fin ite ly declined th eir applications, even verb ally, but it is my opinion that we should not take on any other subdivisions u n til we demonstrate the amount o f water that w ill be used by those now abutting Clark’ s Las Yegas Townsite. -1 -
