    Folies Bergere - Facts & Figures Page 2 ?√ß The Folies Bergere showcase is illuminated by over 600 theatrical lights, including three main spotlights, a massive section of overhead spotlights, banks of colored highlight beams and tracks of high-intensity lamps. Many of the lighting effects, such as the synchronized light curtain, are programmed by computer and monitored by special electricians. This light curtain was the first computerized board of its kind in Las Vegas. ?√ß The longest run for any single production revue in Las Vegas is by the 16th Edition of the Folies Bergere, which opened in 1983 and closed in 1997 for a record-breaking fourteen years. ?√ß Former Folies premier showgirl, Felicia Atkins, holds the record run for any single performer in a Las Vegas show. Felicia was in the Folies Bergere for an amazing I8V2 years! ?√ß Seating capacity in the Tiffany Theatre is 950. The theatre first opened in 1973 as the Superstar Theatre, showcasing celebrity talent. In 1975, the Folies Bergere moved into the theatre, renaming it the Tiffany Theatre. ?√ß The Folies Bergere performs two shows nightly, at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the Tropicana?╟╓s Tiffany Theatre. The show is dark on Thursdays. ?√ß The Folies Bergere is produced under the supervision of the Tropicana?╟╓s Entertainment Director, Ginny Murphy, Entertainment Manager Elaine Celario; Company Manager Lisa Perkowski, and is conceived, choreographed and directed by Jerry Jackson. # # #
