March 23, 1905. 139-AMr. T.E. Gibbon,General Counsel. Dear Sir:-I beg to acknowledge receipt of yours of the 22nd, enclosing three copies of a letter addressed to Members of the Committee, concerning the Las Vegas townsite, which I have noted carefully, and think it covers the ground quite fully so far as it goes. I am sending a copy each to Mr. Hodd and Mr. Bancroft with request that they give immediate reply. I would also suggest, in this connection, that you formulate some plan which we have been discussing in regard to the price of the lots, building restrictions, and also whether or not we should put in a liquor clause. This matter should go to the Committee, I think, as soon as possible.Very truly yours, (Signed) J. ROSS CLARK
