Conner - Los Angeles This refers to Agreement “N^L^D. ,2784 between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Twin Lakes Village, Ino., covering construction of water mains to serve Twin Lakes Village Unit Mo. 2 and Blocks 1 and 2 of Beers Subdivision Meva&a-l. In our telephone conversation this morning, you raised the question as to why this agreement provided for construction of water mains in Blocks 1 and 2 of Beers Subdivision Nev&daSfl but Article II of the agreement did not provide for refunds for water main constructed in Block 2 of this subdivision. \ For your information/^Bl^ck 1 is the area bounded by Artesia Way, U. S. Highway 95 atm/Washington Avenue, and Block 2 is the area bounded by Washington/Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, Beachwood Place, Orange Avenue, Riverside Ikive, U. S. Highway 95 and Artesia Way. While these block numbers have not been indicated on the exhibit map, the agreement provided that refunds will be made from consumers located in Block 1 of/Beers Subdivision Nevada-1, and this office will set up service numbers for all consumers taking direct service from water line constructed sgi Block 1 as indicated above and will leave no question in fthe r e c k ’d as to exactly where refunds will be applied. / \ / \ Mo refunds will be /set up for Consumers taking service from water main constructed |s Orange C i ^ l e in Block 2 as Subdivider has stated that he is not interested in refunds from this line and has agreed to their omission/ from the agreements.
