Paulsen) With copy of Mr. Charles Adams) completed Mr. A.M. Folger ) agreement Herewith, copy of fully executed agreement for delivery to User, between UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY and MRS. CARL SHURTLIFF, submitted by Mr. Bennett. CALVIN M. CORY CMC/b encl. Agreement made in duplicate 17th January, 1949 by and between UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, a corporation of the state of Utah and MRS. CARL SHURTLIFF of Overton, Nevada. The railroad is furnishing Mrs. Shurtliff with water from their surplus by the tank carload at the rate of15 cents per 1000 gallons. - 1 - The railroad will bill her on the 10th day of each month. Mrs. Shurtliff will pay regular commercial freight rates for transporting the water in tank carload lots from Las Vegas to Overton. The railroad does not guarantee quantity or quality of the water and will not permit water waste by the user. This agreement becomes effective May 1st, 1948 and will continue until April 30th, 1953 unless otherwise terminated. The railroad can terminate for no reason, and give 30 days notice. Providing that upon the termination of that certain tenancy provided in that certain agreement between the Railroad and Fred Morledge dated June 30th, 1948, and identified as Railroads Company's Audit Number A 64503 this agreement shall terminate without notice.
