Your Form 30 Ho. 5-1954, covering the drilling of proposed w well at Las Vegas has been returned by the Special Committee, and Mr. Clark has called attention to the fact that the d o n a proposes drilling to a depth supply of water at a depth of appino^unately 300 feet. I find that r'&dvised the Special Committee in my wire of May 3rd that all artesian wells in Las Vegas Valley are less than 300 feet in depth, and Mr. Clark wishes to be advised of the theory upon which we have now estimated a depth of double the one previously mentioned to him. of 700 to 800 feet It is his under standing that' a good well could be had with amplgr < \ y cSigned) W.
