This has been a truly remarkable year in the hietory at our Water Company, as you will note iron our “Annual Report to the Public Service Commission511 which we are now preparing. The nuaber of consumers or services increased over 50# in the one year, the number of feet of transmission aaine inoreased 40£, (principally due to extensions to Defense Housing Project*) and because of the large supply made avail­able by providing additional facilities in the production field, at no time were wt in the least pinched to furnish an adequate supply of water to the town, even during the hottest months and considering the influx of laborers occasioned by construction of the Basic Magnesium Plant.
