A organ!zati on * a represents Inc. non-profit We are trying to entice a combined convention of the California Federation of Mineralogists and the American Federation of Mineralogists to convene in Las Vegas in 19721 We are making up about 500 packets of Las Vegas souveniers and brochures to pass out at the San Diego Convention this July, to the various club representatives. As an inducement for them to vote for Las Vegas in 1972?╟≤ We have hosted the combined show and convention in 1966, for the first time in Las Vegas, very successfully. We rented the complete Convention Center. The paid attendance was 5000 per day for the four day session and was attended by club members from all of our United States and eight foreign countries.
