    Card Tournament Report
On behalf of my committee member: Sorors Virginia Ingram, assistant chairman, Jackie Caffey, Gloria Washington, Flora Shaffer and the assistance of Barbara Kirkland, Jackie Hall and Barbara McCants-Hill, and sorors who purchased tickets, sold tickets, gave advice, and took time to make this event a success, WE THANK YOU!! Soror Billie, thank you for greeting and meeting our guests, so the program started and ended with class.
We had an enjoyable event. We did not obtain our projected numbers, but we gained a new place for events. We acquired new friends, we made some money, and had fun in the process.
The committee met Friday, Oct 30, 2003 at my home. The committee discussed and analyzed the evaluation forms. If the sorority approves of continuing with this fundraiser, we will use some of the helpful suggestions from the evaluation forms and sorority members for next year‘s event,.
The financial accounting from this event will be forthcoming. Soror Barbara Kirkland is still receiving money, including my check.

    Soror Diane E. Stith
