Lear Sirs: There are a few contracts for sale of lots at Las Vegas which have not yet "been delivered, for some of which the Treasurer has received the first payments hut the contracts have not been signed by the purchaser. There are some others for which the Treasurer has not yet collected the first payment,- these are in favor of two persons - Oscar Lawler Lots 9, 10, 11 and IS in Block 30, first payment amounts due $246.25; Irving 3. Metzler and J.Metzler, Lots 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 in Block 17, first payment amounts due $652.50. In addition to the above there are a number of contracts still with Mr.Grace for collection of first payment and delivery of the contract. Among these held by Mr.Grace are contracts for seventeen lots bid in by Ben Saunders, who, I am informed, bid them in at the auction sale for Mr. C.0.Whittemore. There were ten which were bid in by Hector Griswdld, of Salt Lake City, who I also think was bidding in the interest of Mr.Whitte- more. There are four bid in by J.M.Kennelly, which may also have been bid in for Mr. Whitt emo re. The lot and block numbers are given in sheet attach­ed hereto. After the auction sale and before the balance of lots were dis­posed of to Mr.Chris 1. Brown there was a private sale,lasting about two days,at Las Vegas, and during this sale there were reserved by Mr.Whitte- more lots 27 , 28 , 29 , 30 , 31 and 32 in Block 22, and lots 7, 8, 11 and 12
