On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vico President Strong and Secretary in executing rider C.L.D. 6348, dated March 24, 1945, extending to March 31, 1948, term of lease agreement Audit 9981, dated April 15, 1939, expiring March 31, 1945, with Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and its Lessee Union Pacific Railroad Company, Lessor, covering site for tanks and storage of chemicals at East Yard, Los Angeles, California, (being a portion of area leased to Garfield Chemical and Manufacturing Corporation); rental $1.00 per annum, payable annually in ad­vance; subject to termination upon thirty days’ written notice by either party; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing rider C.L.D. No. 6320, dated March 24, 1945, extending to and including March 31, 1946, term of lease agreement Audit No. 9563, dated March 29, 1935, expiring March 31, 1945, with Furniture Manufacturers’ Association, Inc., covering first floor and basement of buildihg located at 2160 East Seventh Street, Los Angeles, California, for use in as­sembling, packing and shipping furniture and household goods; -4-
