Laxalt said he was glad' to represent the State of Nevada at the rally. "There's nothing more important go-tog on in Nevada than this rally," he said. Comedian Red Skelton, who donated $10,000 during the rally, remarked that he had "studied 26 religions. My rel'gion is. God. and it is your people who help make God live." Comedian Danny Kaye, long noted for his aid to Israeli children, George Burns, Jim Backus, Lana Cantrell, Shecky Greene, Jack E. Leonard and Paula Wayne were among entertainers at the tally. Kaye had donated $25,000 to the fund drive Sunday in Los Angeles. Main points of the resolution included: That Jerusalem should never again be a divided city, but should remain un-der Israeli sovereignty because of Is-real's respect for holy places. That Israel should be assisted in main^ ? taining "sound borders" without harass-ment by neighboring countries. That Israel should be allowed to nego-tiate its own peace with the UAR. That Israel should be allowed free ac-cess to all international waters on the same terms enjoyed by other free na-tions. The local committee was composed of Jack Entratter, J. Kell Houssells, Jr., A1 Benedict and H. M. Greenspun.
