    The Clerk presented the application of Albert Neil (Pioneer Club), for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commission, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk presented the application of Frank Martin, for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commission, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk presented the application of Sam Stearns, for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commission, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk presented the application of J. R. Boyer, for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commission, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk presented the application of Brown & Sanders, for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commission, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk presented the application of Don Ritchie, for a license for the operation of two gaming tables. The fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) having been paid and such application having been approved by the Police and Fire Commissioner, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the license be issued. The Clerk then read a letter from Mrs. Julia P. Mundy, Chairman of the Board of Cemetery Trustees, which letter requested an increase in salary from $100.00 to $125.00 per month for the sexton employed at the City Cemetery. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that such increased salary be allowed, and that beginning with the first day of April, 1929, the sexton of said cemetery be paid the salary of $125.00 per month. The Clerk then read a letter from Miss Maud Frazier, City Superintendent of Schools, requesting the City to deed to Las Vegas Union School District Board, fifteen (15) acres of the Fair Ground, which the city expects to possess in a short time, for High School purposes. After some consideration this matter was laid over for further consideration, upon motion duly carried. Upon motion by Commissioner German, seconded by Commissioner Smith, the following resolu­tion was duly adopted:- WHEREAS there has been filed with the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas a certified copy of conviction of Bert McDonald for illegal sale of liquor at 311 Stewart Street, in said City of Las Vegas, BE IT RESOLVED that the license issued to the said McDonald for sale of soft drinks at 311 Stewart Street, be, and the same hereby is, revoked; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for a period of one year hereafter no license shall be issued to the said McDonald, or for his benefit, directly or indirectly, to do business of any nature in the City of Las Vegas, the vote being as follows: Commissioners Smith and German and W. B. Mundy, Mayor Pro tem, voting aye; noes; none. WHEREAS there has been filed with the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas a certified copy of conviction of Edward White for illegal sale of liquor at 17 Fremont Street, in said City of Las Vegas, BE IT RESOLVED that the license issued to the said White for sale of soft drinks at 17 Fremont Street, be, and the same hereby is, revoked; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for a period of one year hereafter no license shall be
