Description

Unsigned Resolution of the General Indian Council of the Las Vegas Indian Colony requesting trust status from Congress. Letter to Chairman of the Las Vegas Indian Colony Max Patrick about a proposed Bill to "to declare that certain federally owned lands in the State of Nevada are held by the United States in trust for the Battle Mountain, Ely, Las Vegas and Winnemucca Indian Colonies, the Lovelock Paiute Tribe, the Te-Moak Bands of Western Shoshone Indians, Nevada, the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, and the Yerington Paiute Tribe, respectively, and for other purposes".
