    SECTION 7. There shall be added a new section to Chapter 36, Code of Las Vegas, Nevada, 1949, to be designated Section 146, to read as follows: STANDING IN PASSENGER CURB LOADING ZONE: Upon those streets or highways and parts of streets or highways described in the following schedule, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle for any pur­pose or period of time other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers in any place marked as a passenger loading zone during hours when the regulations applicable to such curb loading zones are effective, and then only for a period not to exceed 3 minutes. A. SUNRISE AVENUE - along the north curb line of SUNRISE AVENUE beginning 100 feet west of 26th Street and extending west to 30 feet east of 23th Street. B. NORTH 9TH STREET - along the west curb line of NORTH 9TH STREET beginning 50 feet north of Bonanza Road and extending north a distance of 135 feet. C. SOUTH 13TH STREET - along the southeast curb line of SOUTH 13TH STREET from Bridger Avenue to Lewis Avenue. D. SOUTH 16TH STREET - along the northwest curb line of SOUTH 16TH STREET be­ginning at Mayfair Court and extending northeast a distance of 100 feet. E. PAULINE WAY - along the west curb line of PAULINE WAY beginning 50 feet south of Franklin Avenue and extending south to Wengert Avenue. F. WENGERT AVENUE - along the north curb line of Wengert Avenue beginning at Pauline Way and extending west a distance of 450 feet. G. BONITA AVENUE - along the north curb line of BONITA AVENUE beginning 30 feet east of Maryland Parkway and extending east a distance of 300 feet. H. RIVERSIDE DRIVE - along the northwest curb line of RIVERSIDE DRIVE beginning 70 feet southwest of Silver Lake Drive and extending southwest to 20 feet northeast of Baker Avenue. I. SILVER LAKE DRIVE - along the Southwest Curb line of SILVER LAKE DRIVE be­ginning 70 feet northwest of Riverside Drive and extending northwest a dis­tance of 85 feet. J. SOUTH 10TH STREET - along the west curb line of SOUTH 10TH STREET beginning 50 feet south of Franklin Avenue and extending south to 20 feet north of Sweeney Avenue, excluding those areas designated as no parking zone. K. SWEENEY AVENUE - along the north curb line of SWEENEY AVENUE beginning 20 feet west of South Tenth Street and extending west a distance of 400 feet, excluding those areas designated as no parking zone. L. SOUTH 4TH STREET - along the southeast curb line of SOUTH 4TH STREET beginning 30 feet northeast of Clark Avenue and extending northeast a distance of 550 feet, excluding those areas designated as no parking zone. M. SOUTH 7TH STREET - along the southeast curb line of SOUTH 7TH STREET beginning 180 feet southwest of Bridger Avenue and extending southwest a distance of 227 feet. N. BRIDGER AVENUE -a long the southwest curb line of BRIDGER AVENUE beginning 204 feet southeast of South 7th Street and extending southeast a distance of 331 feet, excluding those areas designated as no parking zone. O. EAST ST. LOUIS AVENUE - along the north and south curb lines of EAST ST. LOUIS AVENUE beginning 200 feet east of Maryland Parkway and extending west a dis­tance of 300 feet. SECTION 8. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred ($500.00) dollars, and/or six (6) months in the City Jail, or by a combina­tion of both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 9. All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 10. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Sun, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
