ATTENTION* Mr. Nicholas Referring to conversation a short time ago concerning installation of water mains to serve the south* easterly portion of Hyde Park sub division, Las Vegas. To serve the development indicated on tentative layout which you forwarded to me a few days ago, we estimate it will require installation of 11,010 feet of water main. The estimated cost of ©onetrusting such mains is t60,070, which amount pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9 will,be subject to refund. City authorities advise it will be necessary to Install 15 fire hydrants to provide adequate fire protection for the portion of the tract being sub divided. The estimated cost of water lines to serve these hydrants is 12400, which amount will not be subject to refund. In addition to the above it will be necessary that you secure from the city, at your own esspense, the 15 hydrants, the cost of which likewise will not be subject to refund# Each of the above estimates includes a contingency item of lojg which is to cover any unforeseen increase in material and other cost, our contract will provide, among
