My dear Mr. Jeffers: Referring to Mr. Cray’s letter to Mr* Knickerbocker tinder date of March 17, copy of which I note was sent yon, in reference to water rates of the las Vegas Land and Water Company, I am enclosing herewith for yonr personal and confidential information, copy of my reply to Mr. f, R. McBamee, who is preparing reply to Mr, Gray* 3 letter, concerning our water rates now established here in Las Vegas* I have no doubt that in a short time this com munication may reach yon through the proper channels, but thought it best to send you copy of ray letter of even date to Mr* Me-Namee.
