I agree.AZ-f P- N \ LAS VEGAS LAID AHD WATER COMPANY Los Angeles, February 24, 1908 Mr. Walter R. Bracken, Agent: Las Vegas, lev. •Dear Sir: - ‘Mr.Peck, representative of Carl Leonardt, who I understand has, or will have the contract with the Pacific Fruit Express Company for the building of the Las Vegas ice plant, called on me today and wished tp know how much the Las Vegas Land and Water Company would charge them for water -to be used in the erection of the ice plant. Mr.Peck stated that there would be about 3000 yards of concrete and that they expected to pdt up from 30 to 40 yards per day . and, that it would probably take about one barrel of water per yard of concrete. I had a talk with Mr.Whittemore and Mr.Clark about this and have advised Mr.Leonardt that we would charge him a flat rate of $50.00 for all water used in carrying out the contract, and think that this will be a fair charge for what water is used. Mr.Leonardt has agreed to this and I am writing this letter simply that you may be advised as to the arrangement which has -been made between this company and Ms? • Leonardt.
