    A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada and being a portion of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE¼) of Section 31, Town­ship 20 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B. & M., and being more part­icularly described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 173, Block 10 of Hyde Park No. 1 as shown by map thereof on file in Book 3 of Plats, page 56 as Document 389195 recorded August 16, 1952 in the Office of the County Recorder of Clark County, Nevada; thence South 89°46'33" East parallel with the South line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE¼) of Section 36, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, a distance of 1089.19 feet to the Northeast corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed by the Las Vegas Valley Water District of Nevada to the City of Las Vegas and as described in Parcel 1 by Document 89555 in Book 108 of Official Records recorded September 21, 1956 in the Office of the County Recorder of Clark County, Nevada; thence South 0°45'44" East along the East line thereof a distance of 212.81 feet; thence North 88°52'16" West a distance of 152.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 1007*44" West a distance of 16 feet; thence North 88°52'16" West a distance of 40 feet; thence North 1°07'44" East a distance of 16 feet; thence North 88°52'16" West a distance of 170 feet; thence North lo07'44" East a distance of 110 feet; thence South 88°52'16" East a dis­tance of 210 feet; thence South 1°07'44" West a distance of 110 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing .545 acres more or less. The rent to be charged the County of Clark shall be One Dollar ($1.00) per year, and the term of such lease shall be for thirty (30) years with an option to renew for an additional term of ten (10) years. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public meeting of the Board of Commis­sioners of the City of Las Vegas shall be held on the 6th day of Novem­ber, 1957, at which meeting objections to the entering into the proposed lease may be made by the electors of the City of Las Vegas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following notice, to-wit: NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, on Wednesday, the 6th day of November, 1957, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, 400 Stewart Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, at which time the Board will consider the adoption of a resolution authorizing the Board to enter into a lease for a period of thirty (30) years with Clark County, for certain land as described in a resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 2, 1957. If said resolution is adopted, the City will lease the said land to Clark County for recreational purposes as provided in Chapter 383, Laws of Nevada, 1954-1955, as amended. All persons interested are hereby notified to appear at the time and place above mentioned. DATED: October 2________, 1957 City Clerk be published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Las Vegas, and such notice shall be published not less than twice, on successive days, the last publication to be not less than seven (7) days before the date of the said public meeting. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized and directed to publish the said notice in the Las Vegas Sun, a newspaper of general circula­tion in Clark County, Nevada.
