cc: Mr. Mr. Mr. Mr. Thomas A. Campbell 135 South Fourth Street Las Vegas, Nevada Bear Mr. Campbells We have recently held some conferences with Mr. J* M. Montgomery relative to the difference of opinion as to exact location of the north line of Railroad Company property in the South | of Section# 29 and 30, T. 20 S», R, 61 E«, Las Vegas, Nevada. Locations of all other lines and monuments Involved in sale of land to the Las Vegas Valley Water District have been agreed upon. In order to settle this matter, It Is my opinion that a survey should be made by a Registered Land Surveyor In the State of Nevada to locate and monument this property line and tie It In to existing monuments which are now a matter of record and have been agreed upon* Map should be prepared and filed In the office of the County Recorder. The survey and map should also include setting monument at the most northwesterly corner of the Railroad Company's property, which is in Section 30, T. 20 S., R. 61, £., approximately l/% mile west of east line of Section 30. It Is my opinion that the Land Surveyor should obtain the approval of his survey and map by the County Surveyor and possibly the City ingineer. I understand that the Las Vegas Valley water District has retained the services of Mr. Frank D. Rathbun, Registered Land Surveyor in Nevada, for the purpose of making surveys and maps requiring the signature of a Registered Land Surveyor. Mr. Rathbun has also performed satisfactory work for the Railroad Company in connection with Water Right Surveys, and 1 am willing that he be authorised to make the survey required in this matter. X suggest that the cost of surveys and map required be borne equally by the Railroad Company and the Las Vegas valley Water District. Please advise if you concur, and if so Mr. Montgomery and Mr. Adamson can work out the details. Very truly yours, E. E. D. w Reinhardt DEC I » E. E. Bennett R. L. Adamson b- C. M.
