?- :v; *>%> • M Hon. J.G-. Allard, Pag« 5 Deo. 22, I960 A oheck was made, during the course of these tests, as to the effect of the pumps on certain flowing wells and It was found that during the period the tests were made, generally about three hours, no material decrease was made In the production of walls not pumped nor was there any material decrease in the pressure of such wells, Indicating that If periods of production were limited to periods of peak demand, the full three and a half million gallon rate per day could be obtained. In Veils Nos* 8 and 10, the casing diameter is such as to allow the use of turbine pumps. This type of pump is prefers bis for the reason that It allows more flexibility in the operation and also we are assured by the Manufacturers that prompt delivery can be made. In Veil No. 11, the casing diameter Is too email for the use of a turbine pump and It will be necessary to Install a centrifugal pump on the surface. In the case of the centrifugal pump, the promised deliveries are somewhat uncertain. However, we feel sure that barring some presently unforeseeable catastrophe the installation will be completed In ample time to provide the exoess capacity when large summer demands begin.
