File Memo At 4:30AM, Wednesday, May 18th, 1938, weir measurements were taken of entire water supply, from wells and springs. Present were: Walter R. Bracken. 0. D. Baker (City Engineer) C. H. Jameson (assisting Mr. Baker) T. E. Connolly (LVL&WCo) A. M. Folger M Wes Neeley M All valves were closed on transmission mains at the reservoir and measurement at weir disclosed a head of 8.4 inches, which equalled, according to the table 7.52 second feet. By computation, this was equal to 4,859,965 gallons per day amilable for city, railroad company, PFE Co. and stock yards. Mr. C. D. Baker is City and County Engineer and Mr. Jameson is deputy State Water Surveyor and well experienced in taking water measurements through out the State. Las Vegas, May 18, 1938.
