I agree.1940?╟╓s Speech In the next decade world events had a profound effect on the female gender. As the men joined the armed services, the little homemakers left their kitchens to take over factory jobs. On the music scene there was an invasion of infectious Latin rhythms which added to the growing popularity of the 1940?╟╓s Big Band sound. Every Cool Cat was swinging and on the prowl. SPEECH II Luckily that great 40?╟╓s sound is exciting a brand new generation today. Now this was also the decade in which another tradition was bom that is still carried on today. Soldiers, jocks, college boys, in fact, men from all walks of life began tearing pictures of pretty girls in provocative poses out of magazines and pinning them up on their walls and lockers - and it was the debut of the ?╟úPin-Up?╟Ñ.
