Hon. Robert A. Allen Rage 5 that Lae Vegas Is a Critical Defense Area. With the oonstruo-tion of suoh additional houses It must be obvious to the Commission that the unavailability of water in Las Vegas approaches an alarmingly orltloal stage* I therefore respectfully urge the Commission to make nished to the Commission provide of December 1, 1951, so as to readies follows? (a) The Company will make no extensions of its mains to provide water service in areas of the City of Lae Vegas not theretofore served by water mains of the Company subsequent to December 1, 1951, unless a contract for suoh extensions of mains under the existing rules of the Company have been entered into prior to December 1, (b) The Company will make no new connections for water service to any domestio, commercial or industrial establishment after December 1, 1951, unless application for such connection shall have been made to the Company prior to December 1, 1951. Ho suoh application shall be accepted unless such establishment is completed or under construction on December 1, 1951.
