Polger - Las Vegas: Your letter of February 7th, your file W-23-5, relative to contract for furnishing water service to the Naval Armory at Las Vegas: (C/A-10491) drawing your particular attention to Section 1, Paragraph A. monthly statements to a certain official at Long Beach, California, whereas the letter of January 18th from the Navy Department, sent with your letter of February 7th, requests the bills to be sent to San Diego. I am returning the original letter to you and see no objection to your acknowledging the same and stating that the contract will be considered amended as requested in their letter and that future billing will be made as requested therein. quire a formal amendment to the contract or whether the exchange of letters will be sufficient.
