    Commissioner Bunker moved the action taken January 16, 1952 allowing the name of Joseph Wolf to be added to the gaming and liquor licenses of the Santa Anita Turf Club, 116 Fremont Street be rescinded and no further action taken on this matter until such application has been approved by the Nevada Tax Commission, Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the previous action taken December 27, 1951 changing the Sunset Liquor Store from a package liquor store to a tavern be rescinded, the lic­ense revoked and returned to a package liquor store. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioners Peccole and Whipple. Discussion was held with Mr. John Amucucci, owner of the Sunset Liquor Store, and his attorney Mr. Charles Catt. Thereafter Commissioner Jarrett moved the above motion be rescinded for further study and that a written opinion from the City Attorney on this matter be prepared for the next regular meeting. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the following applications for renewal of gaming licenses for the first quarter of 1952 be granted: EL MOROCCO CLUB Oscar L. Crozier 1332 North E 1 Craps, 1 "21", 1 Keno 2 Poker RINGSIDE LIQUOR STORE C.C. McGovern 123 No. 2nd. 3 slots Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Vegas Enterprises for 2 additional slot machines at the Spic 'N Span, 930 Fremont for the first quarter of 1952 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application, of Tom Rolofson, Von's Candies, 211 North 3rd Street for license for 2 slot machines for the first quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting, aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Hairy. Levy, Food Center, 770 Fremont for license for 3 slot machines for the first quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Oscar L. Crozier, El Morocco Club, 1332 North E for renewal of his tavern license for the first quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Harry Levy, Food Center, 770 Fremont for a Retail Package Liquor license for the first quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of the Western Land and Development Co. by Clem Malone, for a tavern liquor license for the first quarter of 1952 at the Shamrock Hotel, 600 North Main Street be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of H. B. Chapman, Silver Spurs Eatin’ Corral, 222 Fremont for a restaurant beverage liquor license for the first quarter of 1952 be granted subject to a favorable investigation by the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for cigarette license for the first quarter of 1952 be approved: CITY DRUG 231 Fremont Frank Bollig FOOD CENTER 770 Fremont Harry Levy THRIFTY LIQUOR 28 Fremont Dave Wolzinger Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
