Haag - las Yegas lour letter of April 21, 1953. file 80-11, regarding las Yegas Valley Water District's suggestion that certain records he turned over to the District and with particular regard to Paragraph 5 ©a page 2 of your letter: I can see no objection to furnishing the District any records or documents pertaining to easements or rights of way which are held in this office* However, the originals of all the documents pertaining to easements and rights of way have been filed with the Auditor and only transcripts thereof are maintained in this office, except in some cases where we have conformed copies* In view of subsequent conversations with you and the present demand of the Water District for preliminary report or certificate covering all our rights of way including those within dedicated streets, I believe that furnishing them originals or copies of our easements, etc., would be a duplication. It has now been agreed with the Title Company that in cases where our pipe lines are located on private right of way for which we have an easement that they will furnish, us the appropriate document number* It will be possible for the District from this reeord to either read or obtain copies of the original document from the County Records*
