Los Angeles, February 11, 1942 Mr. Walter R. Bracken: In conneotlon with the proposed publicity campaign in Las Vegas, I furnished Mr. Guild certain data with respect to the average daily consumption of water in certain oltles in the state and the number of gallons furnished for $1.00 of revenue, this data being seoured from exhibits furnished by Mr. Sexton during our recent investigation. Reoently I wrote to the Arizona Corporation Commission to see if they had any publication which might furnish the same kind of information for Arizona oltles whloh are notoriously dry (from a water standpoint). They advised that they did not have any publication but sent me a list of public water utilities in Arizona, which I am enclosing. As a representative of the water company, it occurred to me you might secure further information than I could and might desire to write a few of these companies and ascertain the average dally consumption and the number of gallons furnished per $1.00 revenue. I think both of these points are material and might be used if favorable in future publicity. I am not suggesting that you write to all these companies as some of them are individuals, but there seems to be a large number of small water companies serving in the vicinity of Phoenix from whom you may be able to secure this information whloh might be used as a comparison of the Nevada consumption in revenue. I have written to the Santa Fe Land and Improvement Company, whose headquarters are here, as you know, and am sending you a oopy of ay letter. EEEnBd:.d E. E. Bennett.
