Bennett) Referring to Mr. Bennett's letter February 8th, file 8>4, regarding Senate Bill So. 33* amend-ing the ItedergronM Water Act; The amendment was Introduced at the request of the State Engineer's of flee to clarify wording of the Act, the words “portion therein* to he substituted for “sub basin*. In addition, Section 4 is emended to permit the State Engineer to determine whether any areas should be designated a basin instead of making it mandatory on filing of petition.
