rejny to ikcfolhming: Finance Letter 26597,91 Authy,27582.- 34 enclosu res* OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS, washington, Aug 3rd, 1891 S, M, McGowan, Superintendent Herbert Welsh Institute-, Fort Mojave, Arizona* Sir: You are hereby advised that authority has been granted for you to publish an advertisement, as per the form herewith enclosed for a period of three (3) weeks, (covering 21 days), in the weekly editions of the "Mojave County Miner", of Kingman, Arizona, the "Arizona Journal-Miner", of Prescott, Arizona, and by means of "posters", to be posted conspicuously in a number of public places in the vicinity of your school and elsewhere, and distributed among dealers in the articles required doing business in the locality,-— inviting proposals for furnishing and delivering at Kingnan, Arizona, as required, 200,000, lbs,, gross beef, and 59, 400 lbs*, flour, required for subsistence of Hualpai Indians under your charge, — and to enter into contract therefor with the lowest responsible bidder subject to the approval of the Department* I enclose herewith blank forms of contract and bond, in the preparation of which you should be guided by Section 1 to 56 of the Regulations, and forms in the Appendix thereto, and especially by Circular 171, copy herewith.
