Barry, Auditor, ^ loe Angeles, Calif, Bear Sir: Herewith Bill Collectible, Audit No, 40344: The second item of this bill, covering charge of $>5,20 fbr changing out Spar ling meters at Las Vegas, for repairs, appears to be in error* The contract between the Railroad Company and the Water Company provides that the Railroad will stand all expense in connection with the 16” meter on the main line serving the town, and that the Water Company will stand the expense on 8” meters serving Old Town* The way this bill reads, it appears that the expense of both meters were charged to this Company, Will you please investigate and return Bill Collectible to this office for vouchering * TEC 1IC
