FilenJ~!2 -~„. ^ ^ *j t h LAND THIS AGREEMENT, day of M a Y AND WATER COMPANY, a made and 1946, entered into as of the by and between LAS VEGAS corporation of the State, of Nevada hereinafter called "Company”, Party of the First Part, and W. W. CANTRELL, whose postoffice address is 114 South Third Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, hereinafter called "Subdivider", Party of the Second Part, WITNESSETH: R E C I T A L S WHEREAS, the Company is engaged in the business of distributing water as a public utility, in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada; and WHEREAS, the Subdivider is the owner of Blocks 18 and 24, of Fourteenth Street City Addition, as per plat there­of on file and of record in Book 1 of Plats, at page 82, Clark County, Nevada, Records, in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, and has made application to the Company to extend its water mains a distance of approximately 1300 feet through said Blocks in said Subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Company is willing to make said exten­sion in accordance with its Rule 9A on file with the Public Service Commission of the State of Nevada, approved January 16, 1940; and WHEREAS the estimated cost of making the extension applied for, is $3,000*00. NOW, THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: ARTICLE I. Subdivider agrees: 1. To advance and pay to the Company at the time of the execution of this agreement the sum of Three Thousand ($3,000*00) Dollars. 2. At Subdivider1s sole cost and expense to survey and accurately stake upon the ground the line along which said water main is to be laid, and to indicate street and alley grades by appropriate stakes. Said water mains shall be six inches, inside dimension, and shall connect with the existing water main of the Company in Poplar Street, at the intersection of the southerly extension of the north-south center lines of Blocks 18 and 24, and shall extend thence northerly along said north-south center lines of said Blocks to the intersection with £ A-6
