In 1966, Fred Astaire?╟╓s choreographer, Hermes Pan, took Jack-son to Rome to perform on Ral Televisions' "Studio Uno." Barry Chase, Astaire?╟╓s dancing partner, recognized Jerry?╟╓s ability and asked him to choreograph her appearances on The Carol Burnett Show and The Hollywood Palace. Jackson has since directed and choreographed such stars as Juliet Prowse, Abbe Lane, and Goldie Hawn. Among his many television credits he has choreographed CBS?╟╓s top variety show, "Tony Orlando & Dawn." In the field of spectaculars, Jerry has choreographed the present, "Folies Bergere," in Puerto Rico, and the current " Folies" in Las Vegas which he also wrote and directed. In 1975, his Las Vegas "Folies" was nominated for several awards.
