I agree.GENTLEMEN'S QUARTERLY THE FASHION MAGAZINE FOR MEN July 24, 1967 Mr. Al Freeman Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: I know it is no news to you that GQ is featuring Sammy Davis, Jr. as a fashion personality in our September issue. This, incidentally, goes on sale August 17th. Enclosed is some advance material, which I am sure you will be interested in seeing. I am unable to send you the carry-over copy, but have attached a typed portion of the carry-over which I am sure you will be happy to see. If there is any promotion material which would be mutually beneficial, which you would be interested in having, please let me know. Seems to me a paste-up of the cover and the page with Sammy in front of The Sands sign, might be most appropriate for the window in your Wilshire Blvd. office in Los Angeles, as well as other similar spots you might have. A special poster at the newsstand in The Sands itself, possible enclosures similar to the sample attached for mailings, hotel key box stuffers, table tents, etc. might be useful. Perhaps small space ads in the Los Angeles, Las Vegas and other papers would also be in order. If you have any thoughts or suggestions please let me know.
