You may remember that I spoke to you about considering a story on Jack Entratter, who I feel is the fastest rising producer on the American entertain** ment scene, and I am enclosing some material and thoughts for your consideration towards a possible COLLIER9S story on him. Entratter is producing a show of stars to be sent around the world by Variety International on a good will tour which we hope will include Moscow on December 10th. He is also branching out into motion picture business and will do the story of "Caine & Abel" with two top box office stars early next year. As producer at The Sands, Jackfs responsibility for making the hotel is evidence by the fact that as of today, he is also the producer and general manager of another multi-million dollar hotel, the Dunes, which The Sands Hotel will be taking over September 1st. The Dunes9 owners felt they needed the formula that made The Sands the most heavily trafficked resort hotel in the world so they came to Entratter and his partners here with a request to lease and operate their new place in order to help make it P&y in the face of tremendous competition on the Las Vegas scene.
