    Notice Fourth of July Mine
    [not legible] the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet on this ledge lead or lode of mineral bearing rock and ore in place. Beginning at this monument and notice and extending Easterly along the line of the lode seven hundred and fifty feet and Westerly on the line of the lode seven hundred and fifty feet. 
    [not legible] claim three hundred feet on each side of said lode for working purposes and [not legible] to hold and [not legible] this mining ground in accordance [not legible] with U.S. and District Laws. This mine is situated between the El Dorado Canyon & [not legible] Canyon to be known as the Fourth of July mine El Dorado [not legible] DIstrict Lincoln County Nevada [not legible] by Location June 13th 1882
