Campbell Chairman, Board of Directors Las Vegas Valley Water District 135 South ^th Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Campbell: Enclosed are applications for approval of three additions and betterments of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company system. In accordance with the purchase contract which was recently negotiated the Water Company must obtain the approval of the District for all expenditures in excess of $2,000.00. Even though the contract has not yet been signed Mr. Reinhardt has instructed the Water Company to begin obtaining such approvals at once. Two of the contemplated additions and betterments, Nos. W-23-1-88 and W-23-1-115, will be financed largely by advances from sub-dividers. The third project is for a pipe line required to replace certain inadequate private lines and will be paid for by the Water Company. All of these projects are considered necessary and have been marked approved and signed. Very truly yours, JMMiew Enclosures
