I agree. The University of Arizona Arizona Health Sciences Center Office of Development Room 2223 Tucson, Arizona 85724 (602) 626-7204 March 29, 1988 Mrs. Edythe Katz 1273 Park Circle Las Vegas, Nevada 89102 Dear Mrs. Katz: It was particularly meaningful to me that you attended, as a member of the University of Nevada School of Medicine's Advisory Board, the University of Arizona Alumni Association Las Vegas Club and University Heart Center reception and program at Green Valley Athletic Club on the evening of March 24, 1988. As you know, H. Edward Manville Jr. and I, with Founding Dean George T. Smith and Phil Gillette, initiated the University of Nevada School of Medicine Advisory Board almost 20 years ago. It is very gratifying to observe this continuation of advancement and support for the School of Medicine in Nevada. Your presence, along with Associate Dean Cinque and his wife, Nell, and with Kathleen Conaboy and Jan Evans, truly added immeasurably to the success of the event. I deeply appreciate the cooperation that existed in the planning and conducting of this event, particularly as I worked with Kathleen Conaboy in advance. The comments that Dean Cinque made regarding areas of mutual concern in medical-health care issues across the borders of Nevada and Arizona and throughout the region were certainly profound. I am pleased that we are working together on these matters. Again, Mrs. Katz, thank you! Director of Development Arizona Health Sciences Center cc: Acting Dean Vincent A. Fulginiti, M.D. Warren S.
