Las Vegas, Nevada, November 1, 1939. Mr. Walter R. Bracken: I enclose herewith form of application for permit to appropriate the public waters of the State of Nevada, which is to be filed with the State Engineer of the State of Nevada, in connection with the new artesian well drilled in the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Sec. 26, T. 20 S. R. 61 E., M.D.B.& M. to acquire water for domestic and stock watering purposes on Las Vegas Ranch. Will you please sign the original and return it to me for filing with the State Engineer, retaining a copy thereof for your file. I am also enclosing form of well log and report to the State Engineer which is to be filed in connection with said application. This form should be sworn to before a notary public. Leo A.
