(5) but is also considered one of the "finest" in the Country. * Originally, the Show opened with a Cast of 150 and everyone was under a two-year contract. After the first two years, six-month contracts were introduced. * There have been close to 600 different entertainers appear in the Show. This figure would be much higher, but many return after leaving the Show. * Most every American recognizes the date November 22nd as the date that JFK was assassinated. Did you know that it was also the date of the MGM fire in Las Vegas in 1980 and on that same day in 1980, the Argentian Gauchos started a fire of their own in Reno as they opened in the HHH Show. * The "Tiller" kick line consists of....36 girls and surpasses in size, the famous "Rockettes.... which has 32 girls. During the course of one Show, the "Tiller" line has (41) kicks. * "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon" has been sung by Sheila Sparr and numerous other female singers as the Silvery Moon traverses across the stage. The distance the Singers travel on the "Moon Buggy" (a modified golf cart) is 115 feet per Show. After 6,000 Shows, the "Moon Buggy" has traveled a total distance of over 138 miles during the Show. * One performer that still appears in the Show although he left the Show some five or six years ago, is Sadji. His face is the one that appears on the huge face on the Living Curtain during the "Disco" scene. This was done by a special film process that was made at the MGM Studios. * After 6,000 Shows, the famous Circus Parade has traveled over 240 miles. Carol Channing graced our stage for 226 Shows and during those Shows, she entertained the audience for a total of over 94 hours. Although Suzanne Somers did not appear in as many Shows as Carol, she did an act that was ten minutes more and had more total time on stage over 109 hours. Although the McGuire Sisters were only with us for six weeks, they entertained for over ....49 hours during the 84 Shows in which they appeared. We have had over 33 different Specialty Acts appear in the Show since 1978. This number includes (3) of our female vocalists who have appeared in emergency situations. The Gauchos have been there the longest and we had one act that only appeared in 4 Shows.
