R . m% JUN 23 1953 I* E* Bennett Via, Reinhardt Las Vegas - June 2 2 , 1 9 5 3 ¥ 23-1-107 In connection with the construction of pipe line authorized under VO ?29, covering construction of 1020 LF of 6* cast Iron water mains to serve Block 11 and the South Half of H o c k 10, Ladd*a Addition, I find that the proposed pipe line connects with an existing pipe line in a dedicated alley approximately in the center of Slock 12 as indicated by a yellow line an the attached print Mo. A~1G?0, dated December 12, 1952, On investigation in the field, I find that the entire M o c k 12 is now occupied by a Catholic School completely enclosed by fence and that the alley through H o c k 12 has never keen officially vacated by the City, Bus to the fact that this is a public alley, it would seem unnecessary to obtain an easement for proposed pipe lint but after talking to Hr, Benwlek, It was his thought that it might be well to secure an easement from, the char oh authorities which could be made subject to the rights of the City in this alley and which procedure would protect the Water Company In the event the church authorities ever requested the City to vacate i d || all sy« ' «vfr In view of the above, will you please prepare a pipe line easenent subject to the rights of the City in the above mentioned allay through Block 12 between *The Roman Catholic Bishop of Reno, Robert J.
