B&B Supervisor, J . L . H a ll, rep o rts that new Im peller sh a ft was placed on t h is pump as suggested by Worthington Pump Corporation, without making any change in the pump or motor. When th is was done, the coupling halves were found to be very much out of alignm ent, which was no doubt cause o f the other sh aft breaking. The new sh a ft was in s t a lle d and pump and motor re -a lig n e d as per In stru ctio n s o f Worthington Company.
