Sir. Frank Strong Pag# 0 2 November 2, 194$ not be used for irrigation purposes and that so far aa domestic use is coneamed we would have to asoartaln the Railroad's policy inasmuch as this would ba a Railroad line intended to deliver water to L. ?. L. & W. Co. at Uain street. Mayor Gragln who is completing a house on Vest Charleston asked me this naming about a connection from this line and we have received numerous other requests from parties who have only a trickle of water from shallow wells and in some oases have to haul their water in buckets. If our master meter is Installed at Main at. 1 I assume no* deliveries eould be made from the 24* line enroute, except on a wholesale basis through meter service. However, if the meter is to be placed just below the Reservoir I assume the distribution of water from the 24* line would be handled by L.V. L. * W. Co. on a flat rate basis* §31 1 am writing you at this time because a number of people on feat Charleston who had planned to recondition existing wells or possibly build nsw ones would refrain from doing so if there is a probability that they could secure water fro® the 24* line for domestic use* r a m B m r a ", AMFiep cos Mr. g.
