February 28, 1948 W 18-1-12 -A Mr. H. A. Shamberger Assistant State Engineer Carson City, Nevada Dear Hugh: We are considering making an application to drill a well on the Old Ranch on North Fifth Street and were wondering what our chances for success would be in securing a good flow of water. Was wondering if you had a log of the well drilled by the City about 1936 on the present septic tank site; I think it is identified as No. 100. The City has two wells in the Woodland Cemetery, Nos. 102 and 103, and if you have a log of either would appreciate your sending it to me also. With kindest regards and looking forward to seeing you on the next trip South, I am, Very truly yours, A. M. FOLGER
