s The California-Pacific Utilities Company has been furnishing electric power and water service to the city of Winne- mucca since July 31, 1944* when the physical property of the Western States Utilities Company was acquired. Practically all of the electric power is purchased from the Sierra Pacific Power Company. Present rates are as follows: Electric: Domestic lighting, heating and cooking. 1st 12 K.W.H, $1.00 minimum per month Next 23 K.W.H. @ 6,6 cents per K.W.H. Next 65 K.W.H. ® 4.0 cents per K.W.H. Next 200 K.W.H. @ 3.0 cents per K.W.H. Over 300 K.W.H. @ 2.0 cents per K.W.H. Customers using water heaters receive a rate of 1.5 cents per K.W.H, for the first 300 K.W.H. and 1.25 cents per K.W.H. for the next 400 K.W.H. in excess of 200 K.W.H. per month.
