TAXICAB APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the application of William B. Lyons Checker Replacement Cab Co. for license for one taxicab for the fourth quarter of 1951, being a replacement vehicle, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye ; noes, none. New Owner Commissioner Jarrett moved the change of ownership of Whittlesea Blue Cab Company to G. F. Shaw and his application for licenses for 8 taxicabs for the fourth quarter of 1951 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION At this time the joint agreement of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County Agreement with County and and the City of North Las Vegas concerning the financing of the expense of North Las Vegas the Regional Planning Commission was presented to the Board for their consideration. Commissioner Bunker moved the aforementioned agreement be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the City Manager be instructed to prevail upon the Clark County Humane Society to do something about the dogs on Westside. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Hon&r voting aye; noes, none. OAKEY BOULEVARD Commissioner Whipple moved the matter of the request of the property owners IMPROVEMENT in the vicinity of Oakey. Boulevard from 5th to 10th Streets be referred to the Regional Planning Commission for recommendation on the width of the street, type of pavement and suggestion as to whether or not there should be curbs and gutters in this area. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. WATER SERVICE TAPS An interoffice memo from the Plumbing Inspector concerning the request of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company to the Public Service Commission for additional charge for water service taps larger than 3/4". Commissioner Bunker moved the City Attorney write a letter to the Las Vegas Land and Water Company requesting their cooperation in this matter. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Bunker moved this meeting adjourn.
