B. & MAR 2 1953 P. O. Box 1448 Union Pacific Railroad Company, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company Las Vegas Land and Water Company Attention: Mr. E.E. Bennett Dear Sir: The Las Vegas Valley Water District hag been informed that the City of Las Vegas desires an easement area in the South fifty (50) feet of the SE^ of Section 31, Township 20 South, Range 61 East in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, for roadway purposes. It is our understanding that the City of Las Vegas has formally requested an easement for such purpose, which will he available for the installation of a sewer to serve Hyde Park Tract and residen tial developments in that area. We have been informally advised that you may be reluctant to grant such an easement because of a possible conflict with our formal proposal to you dated January 31st,1953. Please be advised that the Las Vegas Valley Water District has no objection to the granting of such an easement and that in the event you grant sueh an easement, it will not be deemed by us to affect our aforesaid proposal. I have discussed this matter informally with other members of the Board of Directors, but it will be approximately two or three weeks before we can have another meeting, at which time a formal resolution in the form attached hereto will be adopted. You will be furnished with a duly executed copy at that time. In the meantime, I thought this letter might expedite consideration of this matter. ily yours WATER DISTRICT YnbmasA. Campbell •ident
