CALL TO ORDER The Senate Secretary called the Senate meeting back to order at 4:25pm. Toby Romer made a presentation of the Video Yearbook. Senate President Evenson retained the gavel. Senate President Evenson announced that the senators who did not make the meeting should have know), and that there was no excuse for their absence. Senate President Pro Tempore Jack Spicer announced that after the meeting anyone who wanted to stay after could watch the video he took when he went to Hawaii for his honeymoon. CSUN President Hendrick announced that he was working on a Capital Improvement Account that would take 1 to 2% away from the CSUN budget each year but in five years down the road, a couple of projects could benefit. CSUN will also be purchasing a reader board that should cost about $179.00. It will display lecture notes, scantrons and any other service CSUN will provide for the students. He is also working on scholarship legislation. Senate President Evenson announced that there was information regarding the sky-line display attached to the agenda, and that everyone should take a look at it. V. BOARD AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Yellin' Rebel editor Kurt Hildebrand announced that the orientation issue "Frontiers" was out on the stands and that they showed profit from the issue of about $500. Quicksilver will come out in about the first to second week of February. KUNV director Rob Rosenthal announced that another radio station was starting to plan the same tpye of music KUNV does. CSUN President Hendrick announced that there was a mix up in the stipends for the month, and that the difference would be made up in the next month's stipend. The Vice President Search Committee received about 200 applications. VI. EXECUTIVE BOARD NOMINATIONS There was no quorum. VII. OLD BUSINESS There was no quorum.
