The workshops were simply outstanding. I attended two very informative and practical workshops. The first workshop was the workshop Getting Ready to Lead: Tips for becoming Basileus. The workshop dealt with sorority organization, sisterly relations, keys to successful chapter operations, and the commitment involved as it relates to the sorority, chapter, and members. The second workshop I attended was entitled Acquiring Property: What, when, and how! The presenters and facilitators were from various chapters who had already acquired property, and were willing to share the strategies they utilized in order to acquire property. I gained some valuable information and contacts from this workshop.
The Regional Luncheon for the Far Western Region was outstanding. Our region saluted Soror Grace in grand style. We also honored our golden sorors that were present in our region. Soror Janet Rhoden represented Theta Theta Omega with class and grace. Thanks Soror Janet.
The formal banquet culminated the evening with an excellent dinner and inspirational performance by Patricia Russel-McCloud.

The seventh plenary session included the installation of officers, rededication, and official closing.
During this Boule many presentations were made. The outstanding response and support for the ON TRACK Program was overwhelming. Our ON TRACK Program is definitely ON TRACK with the themes and concepts that we have included and moved forward with, Thank you Soror Shirley for your commitment to the ON TRACK program. AKA is building several schools in South Africa. Theta Theta Omega was represented by Sorors LaVonne Lewis and Billie Rayford with individual contributions to assist in building more schools in South Africa to educate the children there.
Theta Theta Omega is on the map, and we cannot stop now!
This report cannot capture the spirit of AKA that encompasses one at a Boule. The bond that we share with thousands of sorors around the world is something that connot be explained in a mere report. It is the smile from across the room; the nod of approval from a golden soror; the hug that you know is sincere; and the helping hand...just because. The greatest aspect at Boule is the common bond that we all share in knowing all that we do in service to all mankind is positive, uniting, and uplifiting. These qualities are inherent within the foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and must be preserved through our culture, commitment, and courage to stand for what is right and what is true.
Thank you for allowing me the awesome opportunity for representing Theta Theta Omega at the 2000 Boule. I look forward to serving you to the best of my ability.
